Privacy Policy

Last updated October 28, 2026

This policy says what the arcade collects, why it collects it, who can see it, and what you can do about it. It covers players, and the creators who publish games here.

1. Who is responsible

The arcade's operator is responsible for the personal data described here ("we", "us"). You can reach us at the contact address at the end of this page.

2. What we collect

  • Your account. Your email address, and your name and picture if you sign in with Google or another provider. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored in a readable form.
  • Your profile. The username, bio and avatar you set, whether you are a member, and your Discord name and picture if you choose to link them.
  • How you play. Each session: which cabinet, when it started, how long it lasted. From those we keep your XP, level, tickets, achievements, streaks, daily challenge progress, favourites and ratings.
  • What you post. Your NexusHub posts, replies and likes, your crew connections, the rooms you visit, the one reaction a day you leave in another player's room, and the line you sign a room's guest book with.
  • What you say in chat. The lines you post in the arcade's channels, the channels you belong to, have asked to join or have been invited to, the players you have muted or blocked, and the last time you read a channel.
  • What you buy. Your memberships, ticket packs, cosmetic looks and in-game purchases, with the amounts and the record our payment provider returns. Card details are entered on the payment provider's own secure page — we never see them and never store them.
  • What we send you. The emails we send — the welcome, the crew digest, product updates and the occasional win-back — and whether you have asked us to stop.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, the browser and device you use, the pages you open, a sign-in token kept in your browser, and a little local storage for your session and preferences.
  • Whether you are around. While the arcade is open it keeps a light heartbeat: the last time you were seen, whether you are in your room, and the cabinet you are playing if you are in a game.

3. Why we use it

To run the arcade: to sign you in, save your room and your progress, and show you the games and the feed. To take payments and give you what you paid for — a membership, tickets, a look, an item — and to record what a publisher is owed and what they were paid. To keep the place safe: reports, moderation, and stopping cheating, abuse, fraud or a broken payment. To answer you when you ask for help. To email you about the arcade — the welcome, the crew digest, product updates and the occasional nudge if you have been away — and to stop when you ask us to. And to see how the arcade is used, mostly in totals — how many plays a day, which cabinets draw people — rather than about any one player.

4. What other people can see

The arcade is social, so some of your data is shown to other players on purpose: your username, avatar, level, XP, tickets and streak, your trophies, your favourite cabinets, your room and how it is styled, your NexusHub posts and replies, your chat lines in the channels you share with them, the note you left in a room's guest book, and whether you are online, when you were last seen, whether you are in your room and which cabinet you are playing. If you have linked Discord, the name and picture it gave us are shown beside your arcade name.

Your email address is never shown to another player. Publishers see the sales of their own games — the item, the tickets, and the buyer's username — but never a buyer's email address. Admins can see and change all records, including yours, because running the arcade requires it.

5. Who we share it with

  • Our platform and payment providers. They host the arcade's data and process its payments for us. Card details go to the payment provider directly and never pass through us.
  • Discord — only if you link it. Discord confirms which account is yours and gives back the name and picture, and that is all we read. You can unlink at any time from your profile, which takes the name and picture off your profile.
  • Our email provider. It delivers the arcade's emails on our behalf and records who has unsubscribed, so we can stop writing to an address that asked us to.
  • Games hosted elsewhere. When a cabinet plays a game from another company's site, that site loads in the game frame and sees your IP address and browser, exactly as it would if you visited it. Its own privacy policy applies to it.
  • Where the law requires it. If a valid legal request requires it, or to protect a person or the arcade from harm.
  • If the arcade is sold. If the arcade or its operator changes hands, player data may move with it, under this policy or one at least as protective.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not hand it to advertisers.

6. Cookies and your browser

We keep a sign-in token and a small amount of local storage so you stay signed in and your preferences hold. There are no advertising trackers of ours on the arcade. A game loaded in a cabinet may set its own cookies or storage — that belongs to the site hosting the game, and its own policy covers it.

7. Your choices and your rights

You can edit your username, bio and avatar at any time, take a post down, and unlink Discord without losing anything else. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and the personal data in it; we will do that, keeping only what we must — records of payments and payouts, and what is needed to settle a month already shared out.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as objecting to some uses or asking us to restrict them, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child's account at any time.

8. How long we keep it

Your account, profile, posts and play history stay while your account is open. Payment and payout records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Presence heartbeats are constantly refreshed and only the latest one matters, so there is no history of where you were a month ago. Chat lines in the arcade's public channels are kept for 30 days and then deleted, and a room's own talk lives only while players are standing in it. An unsubscribe is kept for as long as we might otherwise write to you. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and keep the rest only in the records described above.

9. Children

The arcade is not for children under 13, or under whatever age your country sets for online services without a parent's permission. You must meet that age to hold an account. If we learn that a younger child has created one, we will close it and delete the data with it.

10. Security

Passwords are handled by our authentication provider rather than by us, data sits on our platform provider's servers, and access is limited to what each part of the arcade actually needs — a publisher sees their own game's sales, not everybody's. No system is perfect, so keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has your account.

Our providers host data in data centres that may be outside your country. Where data moves like that, we rely on our providers' safeguards for the transfer.

11. Changes to this policy

If what we collect or why changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves; a significant change is announced in the arcade. This policy sits beside our Terms of Service.

12. Contact

For anything about your data — a copy, a correction, a deletion, or a question — write to moxitackbus@gmail.com, or use it to reach the support team about anything else at the arcade. We answer as quickly as we can.
